One direct setup

The script path is for ordinary websites. Shopify installations use a separate managed app and Web Pixel so merchants are not told to edit theme code.

Sign up, add the public domain you are authorized to measure, and choose the closest platform.

STEP 02

Copy the site-specific script into the website’s global head or supported custom-code area.

Website analytics FAQ

Use it beyond Shopify.

Does my website have to use Shopify?

No. A direct ShopLens account works with any public website where you are authorized to add a script. Custom HTML sites, WordPress, WooCommerce, and many site builders can use this path. Shopify uses a separate managed app flow.

Do I need an online store?

No. Content sites, service businesses, landing pages, portfolios, and web applications can use traffic, page, referrer, campaign, device, geography, and custom-goal reporting without commerce events.

What does installation require?

Create a website in ShopLens, then add its generated script to the global head or custom-code area of the site you control. Your platform must allow custom scripts. Verify the setup with a known visit before relying on the reports.

Can a commerce site report order value?

Yes, when your own confirmation-page code reports the real order total, currency, and order ID. ShopLens labels it reported order value and does not estimate refunds, taxes, payouts, or values it never received.
