Terms of Service
Last updated: July 13, 2026
1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms govern your use of ShopLens. By creating an account, connecting a site, or using the service, you agree to them. You must be legally able to enter this agreement, provide accurate account information, and keep account access secure. If you use ShopLens for an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization.
2. The service
ShopLens provides website and store analytics, including traffic, acquisition, live activity where offered, and configured conversion reporting. Features, integrations, plan limits, and availability may change. The Shopify-managed installation is not publicly available until Shopify approves and publishes the applicable listing; direct setup and Shopify-managed installation are distinct paths.
3. Your sites, permissions, and data
You may connect or instrument only a website, store, or account that you own or are authorized to manage. You are responsible for the lawfulness, accuracy, and notices associated with data sent to ShopLens. Do not configure ShopLens to collect passwords, payment-card data, sensitive personal information, or information prohibited by law or platform rules.
You retain your rights in data you provide. You grant ShopLens the limited permission needed to process it to operate, secure, support, and improve the service. Shopify remains the source of truth for individual orders, payouts, refunds, inventory, and other operational records.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use ShopLens to violate law or third-party rights; collect data without necessary authority; interfere with or overload the service; bypass plan, access, security, or rate limits; probe systems without written authorization; distribute malware; misrepresent analytics; resell access without permission; or reverse engineer the service except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
5. Plans, usage, and billing
Plans include pageview and website allowances. New pageview recording may pause after the monthly allowance and configured grace threshold are reached; the merchant's website continues to load. Paid direct plans are billed in advance in U.S. dollars on the selected monthly or annual cycle and renew until canceled. Direct subscriptions can be managed through the ShopLens billing interface. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law, and pricing may change with reasonable notice.
For Shopify-installed subscriptions, Shopify presents and processes charges under the merchant's Shopify agreement and the approved app pricing once the public Shopify listing is approved and available. A direct subscription and a Shopify subscription are separate billing channels unless ShopLens expressly says otherwise.
6. Third-party services
ShopLens may interoperate with Shopify, Stripe, hosting, email, database, and other providers. Their services are governed by their own terms and can change, suspend access, or experience outages. ShopLens is not responsible for a third-party service, theme, app, script, or decision outside its control.
7. Privacy and legal compliance
Our Privacy Policy explains ShopLens data handling. ShopLens does not promise that cookie-free analytics eliminates every consent, disclosure, contractual, or regulatory duty. You are responsible for evaluating your full website and business under applicable law and platform requirements.
8. Availability, changes, and support
We aim to keep ShopLens reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability. We may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features for security, legal, operational, or product reasons. Support is currently provided by email without a guaranteed response time unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
9. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShopLens is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. Analytics are estimates based on observed events and should not be treated as financial, legal, tax, or professional advice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShopLens and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity. Aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid for ShopLens during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so those limitations apply only to the extent permitted.
11. Suspension, termination, and export
Direct account holders may stop using ShopLens or close an account through available controls. Shopify merchants disconnect the Shopify-managed service by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, risk to the service or others, legal requirement, nonpayment, or discontinued service. Export available data before closing an account or uninstalling. Deletion and retention are handled as described in the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. Continued use after revised Terms take effect means you accept them, subject to applicable law. If a change materially affects paid service, we may provide additional notice.
